Discover the fascinating Marine Life of the Indian Ocean around Bawe island, on-board the Semi-Submarine. You will enjoy the fresh ocean breeze on the upper deck and the colorful marine life of the Zanzibar archipelago reefs from your window seat under water. Watch divers interact with fish, while listening to our experienced marine-guides.

Cruise to the Coral Reef

Your cruise to the coral reef will take about 30 minutes. We recommend you to remain on the upper deck at the beginning, where your guide will provide information about Zanzibar’s history, nearby islands and Stone Town. We were received by lovely welcoming people from the reception to the captians. Copa (Cabana) was informative and joyful, we couldn’t see much due to low sunshine (May 10 2024 rainy season).

We have experienced the Classic Reef Tour and were very impressed. The Boat is super clean and comfortable. The staff very nice and well trained. We felt safe from the moment we stepped into the office for some briefing until we have left the boat again. It is magic to drive slowly through the turquoise water to a large coral reef where we saw lots of different species of fish. If you dont go for snorkeling it is a very convenient way to experience the underwater world of Zanzibar.
